  • Business Information: Business name, URSB certificate number, TIN number, business category, location, contact details, and description provided during onboarding.
  • Payment Information: Mobile money phone numbers for processing and receiving payments. We do not store full payment credentials.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and device/browser information to improve the Platform.
  • Customer Booking Data: Information submitted by your customers when they book your services through your Dduuka page.
  • Uploaded Content: Photos, logos, and banner images you upload to your Dduuka page.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your Mydduuka account and Dduuka page.
  • Process payments and bookings through the Platform.
  • Send transactional emails and important account notifications.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • Improve our Platform through analytics and usage data.
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Send promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors that help us operate the Platform (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors like Airtel Money).
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred.

Your public Dduuka page content (business name, description, services, and photos) is visible to all internet users by design.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and to notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

8. Third-Party Sign-In (Google)

When you sign in using Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email address, and profile photo) from Google as permitted by your Google account settings. We do not receive your Google password. Your use of Google sign-in is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Children's Privacy

Mydduuka is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
